Our Mission
To combat youth unemployment and promote entrepreneurship by providing tailored capacity-building programs, cultural integration, and mentorship in Ghana.
At Duapa Werkspace, we believe that the most powerful way to transform a community is to equip its youth. We are a dynamic ecosystem that empowers young people with practical skills, entrepreneurial support, and access to tools and collaborative spaces. From fashion design to welding, digital literacy to green innovation, we nurture talent and ambition into sustainable livelihoods.
Why It Matters
In Ghana, nearly 20% of youth aged 15–24 is classified as NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), and the Western Region is no exception. Many young people face high barriers to entry — including lack of capital, technical skills, mentorship, and access to production facilities. These challenges are even more severe for young women, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and rural communities.
Duapa Werkspace exists to change that narrative.
