The Incubation Program at Duapa Werkspace is a transformative initiative designed to address the critical issue of youth unemployment and underemployment in Ghana’s western region. By providing a nurturing environment for early-stage startups, this program aims to transform innovative ideas into viable, sustainable businesses, thereby contributing to economic development and job creation.

Core Problem: High youth unemployment and underemployment.

  • Causes: Lack of entrepreneurial skills, limited access to resources, insufficient mentorship, and inadequate business infrastructure.
  • Effects: Economic stagnation, increased poverty rates, and social unrest.

By equipping young entrepreneurs with the necessary skills, resources, and mentorship, we can foster the growth of successful startups. These startups will create job opportunities, stimulate local economies, and inspire a culture of innovation and self-sufficiency.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Early-stage startups or entrepreneurs with a viable business idea.
  • Commitment to full participation in the program.
  • Willingness to be based at or frequently visit Duapa Werkspace.
