Our Mission

Our mission at Duapa Werkspace is to provide a collaborative and supportive environment that enables young people to acquire employable or entrepreneurial skills, leading to the creation of alternate livelihood options. We strive to offer high-quality training and mentorship programs, access to essential resources and networks, and a flexible workspace that fosters innovation and creativity.

Our organization has developed a comprehensive strategy that centers on three key areas: Poverty, Good Jobs, and Economic Growth. To implement this strategy, we have created a five-year strategic plan that prioritizes sustainable job creation, with a particular focus on youth and women. Our aim is to empower young people from diverse backgrounds to make a positive impact in their communities. Duapa Werkspace offers a range of core programs, including incubation, entrepreneurship training, and technical and vocational skills training.

In collaboration with SNV – Netherlands Development Organization, we have incubated 22 SMEs from 2021 to 2023. We have also through partnership with Ghana TechLab incubated 16 tech entrepreneurs under the Mastercard Foundation. We were recognized as the “Best Incubation Hub“, “Best Skills Training Hub” and “Best Acceleration Hub” at the National Startup Summit in Accra.

As part of our commitment to building sustainable careers, we ensure that all our skills training programs include basic modules of computer literacy, finance, and soft skills like etiquette, gender diversity appreciation in the workplace, building positive health attitudes, and social and life skills.
